The making of old glass pictures (cliché-verre) inspired me while creating this series. During the process of cliché-verre the glass panels are tinted with smoke. With the use of pointy objects a picture is drawn on the surface which than gets shone through with a light after being placed on photo paper.
During my creative process I painted the glass panels with acrylic paint and I made contacts of them on photo paper. Pictures developped this way can be seen as both painting and photography, giving multiple layers to their comprehension.
